We love a good Glamping set up and the Glamping tents here are some of our favourites. The set up is in 5 metre bell tents with a queen size bed, chairs and your own bar fridge and small kitchen appliances. Importantly, they have a fan to keep you cool in the warmer months, and an electric blanket to warm up your sleep in the cooler months.

Eat & Drink

Cliffy’s Emporium is a favourite for breakfast, brunch and lunch, set in a charming old building that housed Daylesford’s general store in the 1950s. If you’ve got an appetite, go for the Country Breakfast, a feast of poached eggs, lamb sausage, bacon, avocado, tomato and mushroom on sourdough. There’s nothing quite like a great country pub and the Farmers Arms Hotel delivers in spades. It’s an historic building which is great just to visit for a drink, but the highlight is their delicious food with a seasonal menu focused on produce from the local region. This isn’t the place you go to for a chicken parmigiana or fish and chips, but with a menu made up of elevated dishes such as their famed Pork Belly served with house-made apple & cranberry relish, broccolini, creamy mash and red wine jus, you won’t be disappointed. For a casual glass of wine in the afternoon accompanied by some delicious snacks head to Winespeake Cellar & Deli. Pick up some gourmet cheese, charcuterie and a bottle of wine from the local regions to take back and enjoy at the park, or settle in for the afternoon on one of the tables there and enjoy the people watching.

To Do List

Simply strolling around the Daylesford Town Centre is a lovely way to spend a morning. We love to start with a walk around the lake then work our way along Vincent St., full of charming old buildings and stores. We once heard strolling through Daylesford as being like a tour through a living museum and we couldn’t agree more. After stopping for a coffee or something to eat (likely making a slight detour to our favourite cafe, Cliffy’s Emporium), head over to the Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens to explore. Daylesford and its neighbouring Hepburn Springs are renowned for their rejuvenating natural mineral springs, offering visitors a chance to soak in Australia's largest concentration of therapeutic waters. Head to the historic Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa and indulge in one of their range of bathing and spa experiences to enjoy this first hand. If you’re here on the weekend, don’t miss the Daylesford Sunday Market which runs weekly and is home to an array of local crafts, produce, and antiques.

Heads Up

The park is in a beautiful quiet spot just outside of the town centre of Daylesford, and whilst you could make the roughly 2km walk in be mindful that you will be doing so along the side of a main road. We’d recommend going by bike or car.
