Eat & Drink

Vue Wine Bar & Restaurant is a fantastic spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply an afternoon or evening drink. Here you’ll find relaxed fine dining with a great view with a focus on seafood. If you are here for a meal we highly recommend the Seafood Linguine. Located on the outskirts of town you’ll find Yepp Brewing Co. Brewery and Taphouse. Here you can sample this craft brewery’s beers on tap in a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. If you’re there on Saturday, there’s a courtesy bus which will shuttle you to and from town to the brewery. Just minutes walk from the park is Cooee Bay Takeaway, an ideal choice if you’re after some good old fashioned fish and chips. Try the Red Emperor fish, locally caught and always delicious.

To Do List

This area is known for its stunning beaches and the park is located next to what we believe is the best in Yeppoon, Cooee Bay. It’s a quiet and calm beach and a great spot for swimming or just relaxing with a book in hand. If you’re keen to swim but not so keen on the ocean, head to the Yeppoon Lagoon. This 2500 square-metre resort-style lagoon pool is located right on the beach about a 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive away. It includes a shallow area for the little ones and a swim-up infinity edge with stunning views over the nearby Keppel Islands. To get a broader view of the surrounding area, make the 15 minute walk from the park to Wreck Point Scenic Lookout where you’ll enjoy 360 degree views of the Capricorn Coast and Keppel Bay. If you’re keen on more of a walk, the Bluff Point Circuit is a 2.3 km loop that will take you through dense rainforest where you’ll enjoy hinterland views on one side and coastal views on the other. 25 minutes drive inland you’ll find Koorana Crocodile Farm. Home to 3000 crocodiles, this expansive property offers guided tours where you’ll see these amazing reptiles up close and personal and learn all about their behaviour as well as have a hands-on photo opportunity with a small croc.

Heads Up

The Shipping Container Pool that you see in several photos is only for use if you are staying in the Glamping area.
