Eat & Drink

Being in a relatively secluded location, you’re likely to be doing plenty of your own cooking but you’ll also find some great options on site. CootharaBAR & Bistro is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but do note that on weekdays breakfast is from a smaller menu with lighter options. Lunch and Dinner wise the menu is focussed on bistro classics and includes a great selection of pizzas, the classic pepperoni is a favourite of ours. Note that this is a popular venue and it is worthwhile checking with the team if you need to make a reservation ahead of your trip. There’s a craft brewery located on site named Eco Brewery, making entirely natural beers - that means no additives, flavours or preservatives. Make sure you give one a try at the bistro. Last but not least, you’ll also find a Gelato Bar, with fresh gelato, supplied by Amo Gelato from Noosaville.

To Do List

This region is home to a thriving ecosystem set amongst a unique system of waterways and the best way to explore it is on boat. The group that owns Habitat Noosa also runs Everglades tours through their sister business Everglades Eco Safaris. There are both full day (6 hours) and half day (3 hours) options and conveniently these tours set off from and return to a jetty roughly 5 minutes drive from the park. If you want to unwind in the peaceful surroundings, you’re at the right property but equally there’s plenty of nearby activities. Exploring the lake on canoe, kayak or SUP hired from reception is always great fun, and there’s several beautiful walking paths in the area - check with the reception team and they’ll be able to provide you with a walkin map. One of the unique features of this property is the Frisbee Golf course, a 9 hole challenge where competitors throw a frisbee along a course, golf style, aiming for an elevated basket at the end.

Heads Up

This is a secluded spot and whilst it is in the Noosa region, you are a roughly 30-minute drive away from the main town of Noosa Heads.
