ParkBooker Pick
We’re huge fans of the trend of “Tiny House” style accommodation and the Garden Studio here is one of our favourites. Very modern and surprisingly spacious, with a bathroom that is particularly large for this style of accommodation. We love how it comes with it’s own outdoor “Garden Shack”, complete with two hammocks, a table and your own fire pit.

Eat & Drink
This is such a unique stay that we think one of the best ways to enjoy it is to stay on site and take advantage of the BBQ & Camp Kitchen facilities. If you haven’t come with provisions, your best bet is the Grocer and General store about 10 minutes drive away in the town of Kenilworth. In this township you’ll also find Kenilworth Bakery, a favourite of ours that is known for its Donuts (it’s particularly famous for baking 1kg donuts - you’ll need to order ahead though) but the Pies & Sausage Rolls are equally worth visiting for. There’s also a great local pub, the Kenilworth Hotel. An on site brewery means an interesting range of craft beers on the menu to go with your regular favourites. Food wise you’ll find classic counter meals but also American BBQ inspired items, with a focus on meat cooked up in their on site smokers. For something combining food and local history, Kenilworth Dairies is well worth a visit. Currently run by the sixth generation of local dairy farmers, their cheese, mousse, yoghurt and milk products along with an abundance of other delicious local produce can be sampled at this different kind of ‘cellar door’.
To Do List
There’s an incredible amount to do on site here, particularly for animal lovers young and old who will be able to join in on regular sessions of hand feeding deer, petting and cuddling pigs and guinea pigs. These Ranger run tours are all included in the cost of your stay. For those who like to let their imaginations run wild, there is an Enchanted Fairy Garden where you’re encouraged to create your own enchanted item to leave for the next guests to discover. The “Jurassic Trails” is a 2.4km return hike at its full distance, although if you want to turn around earlier you’re of course absolutely free to. If you want to go the full distance you will have to brave some steeper areas but be rewarded at the top with an incredible view over the valley. A short stroll away you’ll find the Mary River which is a great spot for a swim or to take a kayak or stand-up paddleboard. Here you’ll find plenty of ducks and possibly spot turtles as well as the local platypus.
Heads Up
Sites here are spread out into several distinct areas and whilst some have no access to power, being in an area that does have power does not guarantee a site with power so be sure to clarify this in the booking process if needed.
