ParkBooker Pick
We’re big fans of the Premium Powered Sites with their shady waterfront locations just behind the banks of Simpsons Creek. They’re located in a few different sections, and whilst Sites 131-137 are a slightly further walk away from the main facilities in this long and thin park, we love them for their spacious size.
Pricing
Powered Sites from $55 per night, Cabins from $175 per night.

Eat & Drink
For your morning coffee head straight to the Salt Mill on Tweed St. This second outpost from the popular Kingscliff cafe serves up great coffee and a range of delicious kitchen cabinet pastries and sandwiches. From the park you could almost throw a stone and hit the famous Hotel Brunswick it is that close. This classic pub with a sprawling beer garden set looking out over the river is the perfect place to enjoy the serenity of this local town with a cold drink in hand or dine on pub classics with a twist. Additionally, across the menu you’ll find various interesting Japanese options including Sushi and Sashimi prepared by an extensively trained and experienced chef. Hot day? Head straight to Bernardi’s for a delicious Gelato to cool off, best enjoyed sitting by the river or beach.
To Do List
The centrepiece of Brunswick Heads is its pristine river that feeds out into the ocean. These stunning blue waters are a colour you’d more associate with tropical coastline than river thanks to the steady flow of water out to the ocean and beautiful sand, making them a great place to go swimming with kids or take a Kayak/SUP out. If you need to hire a kayak or SUP, Brunswick Buccaneers located on the riverfront is the go to place. For bigger kids, the surf beach is also great and patrolled on weekends, public holidays and school holidays. This is quite a flat town so it's very easy to explore on foot if you’re after an activity on dry land, or alternatively if you’ve brought a bike we highly recommend heading out and enjoying the nearby Northern Rivers Rail Trail. If you happen to be here on the first Saturday of the month, make your way to the Brunswick Heads Markets to stock up on beautiful local produce for your trip, indulge in delicious hot feed and pick various locally made trinkets.
Heads Up
The park differentiates between Powered Sites for tents vs for vehicles. The site type that is only suitable for tents is named “Powered Sites - Tents Only” whilst the general “Powered Site” is suitable for both (but geared toward vehicles).
