ParkBooker Pick
Given they are the focus of the park we have to go with a Tiny Home, and they are all incredibly similar except for location. Each has a stylish design including air conditioning, kitchenette, bathroom and shower. We don’t think you can go wrong with any of the Tiny Homes, but we were in Tiny Home 15 and it had a particularly beautiful aspect.
Pricing
Unpowered Sites from $28 per night, Powered Sites from $38 per night, Tiny Homes from $209 per night, Cabins from $129 per night.

Eat & Drink
Given the remote location, there are limited options nearby so we recommend coming stocked with provisions and using the great facilities on site. This region is home to some fantastic wineries, particularly known for their delicious Shiraz. Pomonal Estate and Seppelt are both roughly 30 minutes away and well worth a visit. If we were going to recommend one for a meal it would be Pomonal Estate, we love the restaurant which is open for lunch Wednesday-Sunday with an accessible, sharing focused menu. Sharing one of the grazing platters and a bottle of wine between a group on these beautiful grounds is one of our favourite ways to spend an afternoon in the Grampians. As an added bonus, there is also a microbrewery and cider house on site. Alternatively, if your focus is on wine tasting then head to Seppelt. This winery is steeped in history and offers a great tasting as well as tours of their underground cellars, a maze of tunnels built in 1868 to store wine at an optimal temperature. They are 3 km long and can store up to 3 million bottles of wine - quite incredible! We know a great coffee place is always high on the list of things to find, but you’ll need to make a 30 minute drive from the park to find the nearest cafe, Salingers, located in the town of Great Western. It is quite close to Seppelt, so combining a visit to both is a great use of driving time.
To Do List
If you’re keen to take a walk in nature, there’s no shortage of options in the area. One of the easiest and most rewarding walks is Mackenzie Falls, you’ll drive to a car park (about 40 minutes away) and then track along a flat 1km path (that is also wheelchair accessible) ending up at these cascading 35m high waterfalls. For a slightly more challenging but still very doable walk, we love “The Balconies” that you can access from the Reed Lookout car park (also about 40 minutes drive away). This 2km return track negotiates some stairs and slopes but you’ll enjoy stunning views over the entire Victoria Valley, Lake Wartook, Mt Difficult Range and Victoria Range from the top. Keen to keep it close by? There is plenty of beautiful space around the park to walk in and you’ll likely encounter kangaroos hopping around at sunset. Within the park itself there’s plenty to keep you occupied including a swimming pool and tennis court access, but in a relaxing place like this sometimes we like to keep the to-do list to a minimum and simply enjoy connecting with the peaceful natural surroundings.
Heads Up
Though everything about this park from the name to the images focuses on its Tiny Home accommodation, there are plenty of Powered and Unpowered Sites also available.
