Jervis Bay Holiday Park, Jervis Bay

A perfectly located, modern Holiday Park with immaculately kept grounds and a warm community atmosphere.

First Impressions
On arrival, we were awestruck at how clean and well maintained this park was. Not to say that we usually are anywhere that isn’t clean and well maintained, but this was manicured to perfection. I’ve seen one review refer to it as “Pristine”, and I can’t think of a better word. Wandering through you can tell that the independent ownership and many accommodation options attract a welcoming, family friendly crowd who have relaxed right into their holiday. Whilst the park isn’t located on the beach, it is smack bang on Currambene Creek, a wide waterway which feeds up to the beach, giving several sites a very pleasant absolute waterfront aspect.

The Offering
From an accommodation perspective, there is a broad offering. Both powered and unpowered sites of course, but there’s also Glamping and a range of cabins, starting at the basic “Bushman’s Cabin” all the way through to a “Deluxe Spa Villa” sleeping up to 8. The park is particularly well paved, which is great for kids who want to hoon around on their bikes, with parents not needing to worry about unexpected potholes or rocks. Speaking of kids, there is a fantastic playground as well as a resort style swimming pool with a cleverly designated ‘splash zone’, meaning those who want to use the pool for more relaxing activities are able to. A unique feature for those who enjoy their watersports is the boat ramp and floating pontoon, the perfect spot to launch your boat, paddleboard, canoe or kayak. A very welcome surprise was the “Sea Dog Jervis Bay'' food truck located on site. From Friday to Monday they’re there in the mornings from 8am-10am serving up a delicious range of takeaway breakfast options (think filled Croissants and Bacon and Egg rolls) as well as coffee. On Friday nights they serve up some delicious burgers. If you’re looking to cook on site, there is a great camp kitchen as well as BBQ facilities. Pets are welcome across all powered and unpowered sites, as well as three of the cabins.
