In remote locations like these our first piece of advice is always to come prepared with your own provisions and be ready to make use of the park’s facilities, here you’ll find both BBQs and a Camp Kitchen.
That said, the team here does a fantastic job bringing various food and beverage options to the park depending on both the time of year and the night of the week. Last time we visited, there was a Pizza night, a Fish & Chips night and a Wine Tasting night - be sure to check with reception on your arrival so you don’t miss out on the fun and delicious food. If you are short on provisions, there is a convenience store that stocks a limited selection of essentials on site.
A holiday in a location like this is all about taking a break and connecting with nature, easily one thanks to the park's incredible location.
On the top of everyone’s to-do list will be a visit to the Cania Gorge National Park, where you’ll be able to explore across a range of hiking and walking tracks and discover imposing rock overhangs, surprisingly lush pools and a range of other wildlife - both plants and animals. Being home to close to 100 species of bird, it is a particularly popular spot for birdwatchers. Animal encounters aren’t limited to the National Park, you’ll almost definitely run into some sulphur-crested cockatoos, kookaburras and wallabies within the Holiday Park.
When you’re done exploring for the day the Holiday Park’s pool is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Little ones will be entertained for hours thanks to a Water Park and Jumping Pillow, we also loved joining ours on the unique Frisbee Golf course. Once the sun has gone down, the Outdoor Cinema provides the perfect spot to relax.
Whilst the fabulous team at the park provide a range of options for food & beverage, this is a remote location so be sure to come with provisions.
Check In is 12pm for Sites and 2pm for Cabins, Check Out is 10am for all accommodation.
Whilst the park itself is pet friendly in selected Sites and Ccabins, the nearby national park is not.
