ParkBooker Pick
We prefer the sites on the Hayle St. side of the park as the other side is bounded by the Gold Coast Highway and can have some noise at times. That said, this isn’t a large park so there is less noise than usual in communal areas.
Pricing
Powered Sites from $65 per night, Cabins from $190 per night.

Eat & Drink
Whilst it has always been a picturesque part of the Gold Coast, Burleigh’s popularity has rapidly increased in recent years thanks to a thriving drinking and dining scene. Paddock Bakery is a go-to spot for breakfast or lunch, serving up food that looks as good as it tastes in an old Queenslander with plenty of outdoor space. The “Dippy Eggs” are favourite amongst many for good reason. Across the road from the park you’ll find Rick Shores, The Burleigh Pavilion and The Tropic Restaurant all located in one building. Our pick of these is Rick Shores with its Asian inspired menu, but all are great options and have a fantastic view. Make sure to book ahead at Rick Shores. For something more casual and with a great view to boot, the Burleigh Surf Club is always reliable as is the Burleigh Bowls Club. The team at Burleigh Beach Tourist Park are always looking to try new things to make their guests stay memorable including rotating on site food carts. At our last stay there was a fantastic coffee cart and we’ve also heard of both a fish and chip van and a pancake van visiting - check with the team on arrival if there’s going to be anything during your stay.
To Do List
Directly across the road from the park you’ll find the beautiful Burleigh Beach. Thanks to its protected waters it's both picturesque and a great place for a swim, but equally if you’re keen for a surf you don’t have to paddle too far out to get to the break at the headland. If you want to learn to surf Burleigh is a great spot to do it, and we highly recommend the team at Godfathers Of The Ocean Surf School. They offer holiday programs, group lessons and private lessons with highly experienced and certified coaches. The Burleigh National Park is well worth a visit and we love to do the Oceanview and Rainforest Circuit walk. It’s a relatively easy 3.1 km loop but there are parts of incline and stairs at times. You’ll enjoy incredible views over the water and spot lots of local wildlife. On the last Sunday of every month the Burleigh Arts and Crafts Market runs in Justin Park and is always good fun to explore.
Heads Up
With limited trees within the park and a warm climate, we advise you to bring your own shade if you can.
