With an expansive deck to take in views directly over beautiful Miami Beach, we can’t go past the Two Bedroom Cabins, all of which have ocean views. We love how flexible these are for group sizes, each comes with a master bedroom with Queen Size Bed, then a second bedroom that can be configured with a range of bed, bunk or bunk–over-bed combinations to sleep up four more people.

Powered Sites from $62 per night, Cabins from $167 per night.

Eat & Drink

We love Piccolo Espresso located directly between the park and the beach for a morning coffee and something quick from their cabinet - usually a croissant! Coffee gets even more convenient on weekends and school holidays though, when a daily coffee van also visits. Their timing can change so be sure to chat to reception on arrival and ask when they’ll be there during your stay. For a more extensive breakfast you don’t have to go far with plenty of great options in the area. Our favourite is Caffeine Kings and when we’re feeling particularly peckish we go for the “King’s Breakfast” which includes eggs cooked your way, pork & fennel chipolata, herbed mushroom, blistered cherry tomatoes, avocado and bacon or smoked salmon. The nearby Miami Tavern has a great outdoor area overlooking the beach and is a great spot for a meal or drink at any time of the day, for the sports fans take note of this venue as they’ll more than likely have your game of choice showing on one of their screens. A short drive or walk (less than 3 km) over to the neighbouring town of Burleigh Heads and you’ll find multiple food and beverage options located in one building located on Godwin Terrace sitting directly over Burleigh Beach - Rick Shores, The Burleigh Pavilion and The Tropic Restaurant. Our pick of these is Rick Shores with its Asian inspired menu, the Fried Moreton Bay Bug Roll is one of our favourite dishes in Australia. Make sure to book ahead.

To Do List

Directly across from the park you’ll find Miami Beach, regarded by many as the most beautiful beach on the Gold Coast and a fantastic spot for a swim. There are two patrolled swimming areas which you can note by the lifeguard towers. Whilst you’re at the beach, make sure you wander down to the southern end where you’ll find the iconic rainbow staircase which always makes for a great photo. Head up the stairs and you’ll find the trail to Mick Schamburg Park and Lores Boney Lookout which offers a beautiful view across the beach and headlands. On Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings the Miami Marketta' comes alive at night - the Gold Coasts’ very own night market. This could easily be in our eating and drinking section thanks to the range of food on offer, but it is entertaining to walk through and experience regardless, and there’s often live music or other entertainment on. Head away from the beach and you’ll find the sprawling Pizzey Park which is home to multiple sports clubs as well as an Olympic size pool, a renowned skate park and various walking trails.

Heads Up

If you can, we’d avoid Powered Sites 1-4 as they are close to both the entrance boom gate and the common amenities area meaning that there’s a bit more noise and foot traffic than you’ll find in other parts of the park.
