Eat & Drink

Our favourite spot for coffee is just 400m, Sparrow Coffee Nobby Beach. It’s particularly great for the early birds, open from 5am Monday to Saturday and 6am on Sundays. There’s several little restaurants in the same area as Sparrow Coffee, and our pick is Gemellini, a casual Italian spot known for its authentic pastas and wood fired pizzas. Less than 5 minutes walk from the park in the opposite direction to the Nobby Beach shops, you’ll find the Miami Marketta, Gold Coast’s very own bustling night market that wouldn’t feel out of place on the streets of South-East Asia or Europe. It’s open on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Both the street food and entertainment lineups are always rotating, but never short of quality options. Beyond the Camp Kitchen, there’s some great options within the park with a Fish and Chips Food Truck every Wednesday evening and fresh seafood delivery available on Saturday’s, these timetables can change so be sure to check with reception when you arrive.

To Do List

There’s plenty of fun to be had inside the Holiday Park, particularly for those who enjoy spending their holidays in the water. There’s two swimming pools, both of which are heated to a perfect 28 degrees year round. Kids of all ages will be in paradise, whether they are splashing around in the special shallow toddlers pool, or enjoying the adrenaline rush of the 35m mega waterslide. When you’ve had enough fun splashing around inside the park, a ten minute walk away you’ll find Nobby Beach, a picturesque spot for a swim. It’s patrolled on weekends and throughout holiday periods. Of course, a family trip to the Gold Coast would not be complete without at least one theme park visit, and our two favourites are Warner Brothers Movie World and Wet'n'Wild, both of which are approximately 30 minutes drive away in the Helensvale area.

Heads Up

Whilst there are long-term and permanent tenants in the park, these sites are in a separate location to the tourist area, which we love as it keeps the holiday atmosphere.
