For convenient coffee, a short walk up the beach and out the front of another Holiday Haven property (Holiday Haven Huskisson Beach) you’ll find Emma’s Coffee Spot, a coffee cart open 7 days a week from 7am. If you’re keen to venture a little further, one of our favourite spots for coffee, breakfast or lunch is 5 Little Pigs Cafe. This locally owned and run cafe serves up both classics and more innovative food at an affordable price. For a drink or counter meal with a view, The Huskisson Hotel is a beautiful spot serving up great quality food at reasonable prices.
To Do List
There are stunning beaches everywhere in this location and the short drive to Hyams Beach is well worth it to experience the white sands and turquoise blue waters but there is some small swell occasionally. For younger kids still wanting a swim without the swell, Moona Moona Creek is a safe and shallow waterway that's perfect for kids of all ages to swim and play. This is an area known for its marine life, and with over 100 dolphins calling the Jervis Bay region their home year-round, you’re more than likely to see one on one of the many dolphin watching cruises available - there’s several options but we recommend Jervis Bay Wild Cruises. If you happen to be in town from May through to November, you’re also a chance to spot some whales as they track along their migration path.
Heads Up
With a second Holiday Haven property located on the same street (Holiday Haven Huskisson Beach), it’s easy to get confused but these are different properties with different facilities so make sure you’re booking (and arrive at) the right one. If you’re keen on a water view then you’ll need to book a Premium Powered Site, all cabin accommodation is located in the inner part of the park.
