Eating & Drinking

We recommend stocking up on coffee and breakfast items to enjoy at the park, this place’s seclusion is part of its charm. All Cabins have cooking facilities and there’s a small camp kitchen for those who have vehicles that are without.

Nearby Sussex Inlet township is a 10 minute drive away and your best bet for more variety. If you’re in the mood for some Thai, Silver Spoon is a great spot to eat in or have takeaway.

Our favourite spot for a drink in Sussex Inlet is Swordfish Brewery,  a craft beer producer with an outdoor area overlooking the Sussex Inlet waterway. If you're feeling hungry, there's a menu ranging from starters and snacks (the fried squid is a favourite), through to heartier mains including a mouth-watering lamb shoulder which is 800g and great to share with a group.

To Do List

Surfside Cudmirrah is all about enjoying the serenity of nature, positioned in a small hamlet with a lagoon at your door and a short walk up to the ocean in one direction or Swan Lake in the other.

This spot is a surfers delight with a great reef break as well as Kirby’s beach break. If you’re feeling adventurous, head over to Fisherman’s Rock and jump off into the water!

In your wandering you’re every chance to spot kangaroos, possums, echidnas and a whole range of birds if you keep your eyes peeled if you’re a wildlife lover.

Heads Up

The Surfside Cudmirrah Cabins and sites are on one side of a larger park that also houses several other privately owned permanent sites so don’t get confused if you arrive at the wrong side of the park. The camp kitchen does not have a fridge so if you don’t have access to one in your vehicle, you will need to BYO your own esky and ice.
