ParkBooker Pick
In this ultra family friendly resort there’s no shortage of action across all the facilities so we quite like going for one of the Ensuite Sites that are tucked away at the back of the park and offer a bit more peace and quiet. If you’re not worried about that, go for one of the Powered Sites that run along Orchid Ave. or Fuschia Ave., ideally located close to all facilities and a short walk to the beach.
Pricing
Powered Sites from $55 per night, Ensuite Powered Sites from $69 per night, Cabins and Villas from $137 per night.

Eat & Drink
If your preference is to stay on site there is a licensed cafe open 7 days a week serving up coffee, snacks, lunch, dinner and a range of beverages. If you’re going to do the cooking yourself the Camp Kitchen is one of the best stocked we’ve seen, complete with Indoor BBQ facility, full size oven, full size fridge, cooktops and microwave. Hastings Point is not a town with lots of restaurants but outside of the park and just up the road you’ll find Nook Cafe, a great all round spot serving up consistent breakfast, lunch and snacks. If you’re after some additional options, your best bet is to make the 5 minute drive south to Pottsville.
To Do List
I don’t think we’ve seen a park with this many on site facilities, so for this edition of the To Do List there’s plenty that's right on the doorstep of your site. There’s no shortage of swimming opportunities, with a lagoon pool and water park complete with some adrenaline pumping slides. If you’re after a swim in nature, there’s direct access to both the beach and estuary the park sits on. The Marine Discovery Centre is located on site and open to both resort guests and the public, here you’ll learn all about the local marine environment and particularly how you can play a role in protecting and safeguarding it for future generations. When you need some time to relax, book the kids into Neptune’s Castle Kids Club whilst you visit the Seascape Leisure Centre, an on site Adults Only leisure centre and day spa complete with a variety of treatments, hair salon, gym and multiple pools and temperature controlled spas. The 60 minute Wellness Massage was absolute bliss on our last visit. If you’re keen to get out of the park and explore all that the Gold Coast or Byron Bay have to offer, this is also a great place located right in the middle of the two - a 30 minute drive each way.
Heads Up
If you’re wanting to save yourself some frustration or simply just not keen to back your own caravan into your site, there’s a tractor on hand where one of the staff will tow you in.
