Marino’s Whitsundays food truck is located on site, offering an all day menu including breakfast classics, lots of great options for the kids and our favourite, the beef nachos. There’s also a well equipped Camp Kitchen if you’d prefer to do your own cooking.
When you’re keen to venture outside of the park for something to eat or drink, your best bet is to make the less than 10 minute drive to the town of Airlie Beach where you'll find a wide variety of venues. Berry & Maple Patisserie is our go to for a morning coffee and one of their many delicious sweet treats. Don’t worry if you’re travelling with someone who doesn’t have a sweet tooth - their Bacon & Egg roll is as good as any of the pastries. Come dinner time, our favourite spot is Sorrento Restaurant & Bar. Here you'll enjoy delicious Italian food with one of the best views around, make sure you're in time to watch the sun set over the Coral Sea. Menu wise, our favourite is the Risotto Marinara - a delicious combination of seared scallops, fresh prawns, mussels, clams and smoked salmon.
Endless family fun can be found right at your doorstep thanks to a stack of great facilities within the park. There’s a giant pool featuring waterslides, a mega waterslide park, an adventure playground, mini golf, pedal karts, an animal park, and more. Whilst the kids are off playing, you can have some relaxation time thanks to the poolside massage pavilion. The fun doesn’t end when the sun goes down, with an Outdoor Cinema screening movies 3 nights a week throughout the year, and 7 nights a week during school holidays.
When it comes to on-water activities, the Whitsundays are a truly incredible region, and we think your best bet is to head down to the Coral Sea Marina and explore the various tours on offer and choose what takes your fancy. If you’re only going to do one thing, then you must visit Whitehaven Beach. Approximately 1 hour boat ride from Airlie Beach, this idyllic island paradise is famous for its impossible-to-describe soft white sand and crystal clear waters. We recommend joining a smaller boat and group for the optimal experience but there's several great options catering to all tastes.
Beyond Whitehaven, there’s various other islands to explore as well as snorkelling, watersports, fishing charters and more - you’re sure to find a tour in the Whitsundays that suits your preferences.
This is first and foremost a family friendly park, which means there’s a bustling and energetic atmosphere which we love when travelling with the kids. If you’re after a quieter spot, we’d recommend looking elsewhere.
Check In is 2pm for Cabins and 11am for Sites, Check Out is 10am for all accommodation.
Strictly no pets allowed in the park.
