Eating & Drinking

The Park offers a camp kitchen equipped with essential cooking facilities, including a stovetop, oven, microwave, and fridge. Additionally, there is a sheltered BBQ area, perfect for outdoor meals. The Estuary Store next door stocks basic groceries, snacks, ice, bait, and fuel, ensuring you have the necessities without leaving the park.

For a bigger shop and access to a pharmacy, it’s a 15 minute drive into Miami Plaza, Falcon. All the main fast food restaurants are situated alongside the shopping centre. If the caffeine fix at The Estuary Store isn’t enough Lazy Jane’s Cafe or Falcon Bay Beach Cafe (both in Falcon) are great brunch/lunch options.

Cobblers Tavern is a relaxed, family‑friendly pub that locals love. They serve up hearty pub classics and local beers as well as a dedicated kids menu. It’s a top spot to wind down after a full day packed with water activities on the Estuary.

If you’re in the mood for something a little special, Fermentum & Co is our go-to. While their breakfast and lunch offerings are excellent, it’s the evening menu that really shines with handmade pasta, woodfired pizza and share-style tapas. It’s a popular spot, so book ahead if you’re heading there on a weekend. Don’t miss the Polenta Fritters or the Baccalà Croquettes - both are standout dishes.

To Do List

Launch your kayak or small boat straight from the Park’s private boat ramp into the Harvey Estuary and head out to catch a bite or a leisurely paddle.

At the Park, keep an eye out for native birds and other wildlife along the estuary, even dolphins have been known to bob up at dawn or dusk. In the summer months the outdoor swimming pool is perfect for kids with plenty of shade. During winter time toast marshmallows around a fit pit.

There’s plenty to keep the family active, from 4WD driving at nearby Tim’s Thicket, Preston Beach, and White Hills, to swimming and surfing at Falcon Bay just a few minutes up the road.

A 5 minute drive south, and you’ll find yourself at the Lake Clifton Thrombolites - rare, rock-like structures that date back over 3,000 years. It’s a peaceful walk along the boardwalk with views over the lake. Bonus: whilst you’re there pop into the award-winning Thorny Devil Brewery. Set yourself down on a bench outside with a craft beer and a serve of their delicious pulled pork sliders.

Heads Up

The swimming pool is closed from May to September (inclusive). This coincides with Fire season where campfires are permitted.

Mandurah’s waterways are popular so book ahead for dolphin cruises or canal tours, especially during school holidays.
