Your guide to this area

Eating & Drinking

Roughly 10 minutes walk from the park you’ll find our favourite spot for a coffee, Coffee@. If you’re after something small to eat, choose from one of the delicious rotating sweet treats available at the counter

The historic Landsborough Pub is always an easy choice to visit when you’re after a meal out or a cold drink. The menu has a range of pub classics as well as a few interesting dishes with a twist. We love a classic and always stick with the Chicken Schnitzel, one of the best we’ve tried in our travels.

If you’d prefer to stay on site for your meals, the Camp Kitchen and BBQ areas are there for you to cook up a storm and there’s great shaded communal meal areas providing the perfect spot to meet some of your fellow travellers.

To Do List

Set on about nine leafy acres, Landsborough Holiday Park is the perfect setting for relaxing or even taking a walk through the grounds. If you’re keen to cool off from the beautiful Sunshine Coast weather, the resort-style swimming pool will be calling your name. You’ll also see native wildlife come through, which adds a nice touch of nature right at your doorstep.

Animal lovers can’t miss the world-renowned Australia Zoo, located just a short drive away. Founded by the Irwin family, this incredible property is home to over 1200 animals and is a great place not just to see these beautiful creatures up close but also learn about conservation. Don’t miss out on getting to one of the regular shows - our favourite is Croc School, where you learn all about the late Steve Irwin’s favourite - the crocodile.

For a change of pace, a 5-minute drive away you’ll find the Big Kart Go Karting Track. This 1.2km track is the largest commercial go karting track in Australia and is open 7 days a week.

If you’re looking for a unique walk, the Dularcha Railway Tunnel is a 93-metre heritage tunnel built in 1891, set within Dularcha National Park and easily reached by walking or cycling tracks through the forest. Keep an eye out for native wildlife and small bat colonies as you pass through.

Heads Up

Whilst this is a beautiful hinterland location, don’t rule it out if you’re wanting to head to the beach - it’s just a 20 minute drive to some of the beautiful beaches of the Sunshine Coast surrounding Caloundra.
