NRMA Eastern Beach Holiday Park

Unpowered Sites from $33 per night, Powered Sites from $40 per night, Ensuite Sites from $66 per night, Cabins and Villas from $190 per night.

Check In time is from 11am for Sites and 2pm for Cabins and Villas, Check Out is 10am for all accommodation.

Pets are allowed on all Sites as well as the “Waterview Villa” except for the periods of Easter weekend (Good Friday to Easter Monday) and over New Year (26 Dec – 31 Jan).

Our favourite spot for breakfast or lunch is Albert & Co, dishing up cafe classics in a beautifully designed and kept venue on the Esplanade. If you’re a fan of Baked Eggs, we highly recommend getting here for breakfast - theirs are one of our favourite dishes. Within the park you’re spoiled for choice with cooking facilities thanks to a well maintained camp kitchen, BBQs and even a pizza oven. There’s also a kiosk within the park that is well stocked with basic supplies. If you’re looking for something a bit more upmarket, we highly recommend Sodafish, serving up delicious locally caught fresh seafood in a refined setting that is actually floating out on the water in a refurbished ferry.

Lakes Entrance is home to a unique system of inland waterways and multiple lakes crossing over each other and feeding out to the beach. This makes for both spectacular scenery and a range of great water-based activities to do. Our favourite beach is Eastern Beach, which happens to be located a very short walk from the park. It’s patrolled through all school holidays and the busier periods of the year. When you’re keen for a swim but are happy to do without the sand, the pool onsite is generously proportioned with plenty of space both for those splashing around in the pool and those who prefer to lounge beside it. Fishermen will be very happy with this choice of destination, with Bream and Flathead both in abundance as well as a variety of other fish. For a land based activity, head to the Griffiths Sea Shell Museum and Marine Display to learn more about the local marine life and check out their extensive collection of shells.

This park is located behind Eastern Beach and whilst this is a spectacular location from a scenery point of view, you’re roughly 2 km from the main township of Lakes Entrance. That said, it’s a straight forward journey down one road, and can easily be done via car, bike or foot. If you can, we’d recommend against the Ensuite Sites as they’re located in the centre of several other sites and you lose the coastal feel of the park.
