Eating & Drinking

Dining is a highlight that you don’t need to leave the property for here, with Galleons Bistro serving up family-friendly al fresco meals every day of the week. From tropical breakfasts and lazy lunches to hearty dinners, the full à la carte menu covers everything from gourmet burgers, pizzas and pastas to fresh salads, seafood and schnitzels, plus homemade desserts to finish. Guests can also enjoy Treasure Lager, a bespoke craft beer created in partnership with local favourite Black Hops Brewing, available exclusively at the Bistro.

For added convenience, there’s a kiosk stocked with essentials and treats for the kids, along with BBQ and camp kitchen facilities for those who prefer to self-cater.

If you’re keen to leave the park there’s no shortage of options on the Gold Coast, but to save you the drive we’ll recommend a few that are nearby. About 15 minutes drive away on the Southport Spit you’ll find Omeros Brothers Seafood Restaurant, an elegant waterfront destination that is our go to in the area for a specific occasion meal. Whilst seafood is the focus here don’t worry if you have anyone in your group who is seafood averse - there’s some great steak and pasta options as well. For something more casual but still not too far away, the main shops of Southport are approximately 10 minutes drive away and you’ll find plenty of options here, mainly on Nerang St.

To Do List

This is the sort of park you could spend your entire trip in without leaving thanks to its extensive range of facilities, ensuring fun for all ages!

If there’s one thing we think about when planning a family trip to this area it’s finding a Holiday Park with a great pool, and here you’ll find four of them as well as a water park. Cool off in the main pool with its fun slide, take it easy in the lagoon pool under the waterfall, or let the little ones enjoy the shaded wading pool and fountains. The pirate-themed water park is a favourite with families, featuring a desert island, pirate ship, sea monsters, water cannons, sprayers, a giant tipping bucket and plenty of spots to get soaked for hours of fun.

Beyond the pools, there’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained. Kids can burn energy on the outdoor games area, giant bouncing pillow and pedal go-karts, while evenings bring everyone together at the outdoor cinema showing family favourites under the stars. A kids activities program runs regularly, with most options free and no bookings needed, apart from morning crafts, and during school holidays the schedule expands with even more fun events to enjoy.

Of course the entertainment doesn’t stop there and if you’re keen to visit some of the Gold Coast’s iconic Theme Parks you’re in the right spot. Dreamworld, Movie World and Wet’n’Wild are all close together, 15 minutes drive away in one direction, or Sea World is just 15 minutes drive away in the opposite direction. If you’re planning on visiting more than one park, we highly recommend buying multi-park passes online before you go - these are by far the best value for money when it comes to ticketing.
