Eat & Drink

For those cooking on site, do note that there isn’t a camp kitchen available but there are BBQs. If you’re keen for a meal out, the Pickled Octopus serves up authentic Thai food with a beautiful elevated view over the lake - go for the Mixed Seafood Curry, a delicious mix of ocean caught prawns, fish, calamari  and NZ mussels in mild coconut curry sauce with green peppercorns, baby bok choy and kaffir lime leaves. The Tuross Boatshed & Cafe is a great spot for a quick meal at any time of the day and serves up what we think is the best coffee in town.

To Do List

Whilst technically not a ‘private’ beach for the Holiday Park, Tuross Beach is located directly in front of it and has that feel to it given it is surrounded by the Holiday Park. This is a beautiful calm beach that is great for swimmers of all capability and age. If you’re keen to fish, this is a great spot for beach fishing or to head out on a charter. You’ll no doubt be keen to stretch the legs at some stage, and we recommend the stroll up to One Tree Point Lookout and Picnic Area. Here you’ll get a great view over the ocean where you can regularly spot dolphins, and from May to November may also see some whales as well. If you’ve brought your bikes with you the Tuross Lake Bike Path is a great spot to cruise along with the whole family and stop at the playgrounds along the way.

Heads Up

Not all Cabin shave linen and towels available for all guests. Linen & towels can be hired for $10 per set from reception or you are welcome to bring your own.
