When you’re travelling somewhere warm there’s nothing better than arriving and seeing an incredible pool that you just know you’ll be spending plenty of time in during your stay. From expansive resort-style pools through to incredible slides and waterparks, here are the four best Holiday Park swimming pools in Queensland.

1. BIG 4 SANDSTONE POINT RESORT PARK: BRIBIE ISLAND

Viewed by many as one of the very best Holiday Parks in Queensland, Sandstone Point gives a true resort feeling and it all centres around water related activities. There’s two different pools including one with a shallow area for the little ones, but our favourite feature has got to be the swim-up bar - a great place to enjoy a relaxing beverage and really settle into your holiday. Additionally, you’ll find a fantastic water park which the kids can run wild in, the highlight of which is the 800L tipping bucket. Both pools are heated and whilst neither places any restrictions on who can visit, the smaller one is designed with adults in mind and is a more relaxing place to go to if you’re visiting without the kids.

Location: 1820 Bribie Island Rd, Sandstone Point QLD

2. INGENIA CAIRNS COCONUT RESORT PARK: CAIRNS

With two resort style pools, a splash water park and a jacuzzi, there’s plenty of variety to be had at Cairns Coconut Resort Park. The water park here is one of our favourites with multiple slides, a tipping bucket and tropical fish decorations. What’s particularly handy are the sun lounges set up right next to it, perfect to supervise the kids whilst also relaxing in the beautiful Far North Queensland sun.

Location: 23/51 Anderson Rd, Woree QLD

3. NRMA TREASURE ISLAND RESORT PARK: BIGGERA WATERS

With four different resort style pools you are spoiled for choice at NRMA Treasure Island Resort. There is a pirate theme throughout the park that kids will love which is particularly brought to life across the water park that they will love playing in. Whilst the main resort pool is the largest and a favourite amongst many guests, we love the lagoon pool which has two spas and a beautiful waterfall.

Location: 117 Brisbane Rd, Biggera Waters QLD

4. BIG4 GLENGARRY HOLIDAY RESORT: PORT DOUGLAS

Whilst this park is very family friendly with their water park and resort style pool with a shallow wading area for toddlers, the lagoon design and tropical landscaping make it feel particularly peaceful. A great choice if you’re looking for somewhere that the kids can splash around but you can also enjoy some downtime in quieter corners of the pool.

Location: 70 Mowbray River Rd, Port Douglas QLD
