First Impressions
A relatively nondescript entry off Tathra’s main drag Andy Poole Drive, and you don’t realise how close to the beach you actually are! Upon parking the caravan we went for a wander and realised the sand was in fact just metres from our beachfront site, separated with some bush but easily accessible via the purpose built track. This is a spacious and clearly family friendly park where no shortage of kids are running around and enjoying themselves in the open spaces or the pool and water park area. Sometimes you arrive at a park and you can tell that it’s the sort of place where you'll make some great mates, and this is one of those parks.
The Offering
Various cabins and villas are available if you’re after roofed accommodation, and there’s plenty of creative options. We love what they’ve done with their basic cabins - the “Sea Pod” is a converted shipping container with a queen bed, bathroom and screened private courtyard. Working up from there, there’s plenty of other options all the way through to “Beach House” which sleeps up to 8. All sites are Powered, you just have to choose from whether you’d like a Beachfront Site and/or an Ensuite Site. There’s two different Glamping options, both of which have beachfront locations. This is a park with top notch facilities, including a swimming pool and water park as well as great communal areas for both socialising and showering. The brand new amenities block is particularly luxurious. Where this park really shines is their weekly events, ranging from live music to burger nights and a coffee van on the weekends.
Our Digs
A Beachside Ensuite Site, spacious astroturf with a full ensuite portable attached located just steps from the beach on the ocean side of the park.
You’ll Drive Back For
Lots of different accommodation options and a creative approach to on site events means each time you return will feel like you’ve come back to a different place (in a good way).
