First Impressions
Located directly opposite Werri Beach, the sun is shining and there is a great atmosphere around the park with kids out playing and adults socialising. You can tell this is one of those parks with a great community vibe. We’re warmly greeted at reception and taken to our Cabin which is located on the beach side of the park. We’re impressed along our drive to our cabin with the well maintained roads and garden of the park. We’ve also spotted the local bowlo next door and know we’ll try to pop across there at some stage for a drink and maybe a counter meal.
The Offering
Located directly opposite the beach, Werri Beach Holiday Park is in a great spot although it must be noted the centre of town is located up a hill (10-15 minute walk) rather than in this area. There’s a variety of Cabins on offer ranging from the smaller and more budget friendly through to large “Spa Cabins” containing their own spa. All Cabins have air conditioning, self-contained kitchens and their own private BBQs which is a great touch. There are a range of both Powered and Unpowered Sites available, some on grass and some on concrete slabs. All of these are located at the back (i.e. not the ocean side) of the park.
Our Digs
A family trip for us, we went for an Oceanside Cabin which includes a queen bed in the main room and 3 singles (bunk style) in the 2nd room.
You’ll Drive Back For
Whilst only a small town, Gerringong is jam packed with things to do and places to eat and drink. Werri Beach Holiday Park is the perfect place to stay and explore all that this vibrant coastal town has to offer. Each time we’ve returned there’s been new things pop up, so we’re always keen to make the drive back.

A quick trip over from Canberra or Sydney, stops definitely required (probably an overnight) from Melbourne. Here are the three nearest major cities:
