This short itinerary takes in three stops along Victoria's famed Great Ocean Road, sampling the best of the coastal lifestyle and incredible natural beauty of this area.

📍 STOP 1: ANGLESEA
Where to stay in Anglesea?
Anglesea Family Caravan Park is one of our favourite family friendly parks around. With a huge range of facilities including a solar heated outdoor pool, mini golf, jumping pillow and basketball courts, kids will never lack something to do. The camp kitchen has been recently renovated and is a great spot to cook up a storm.
What to do, eat and drink in Anglesea?
Our favourite beach is Point Roadknight, which sports calm and picturesque blue waters that are great for family members of all ages. If you want somewhere with a bit more action from a surf perspective then head straight to the Anglesea Main Beach. When it comes to dining, Anglesea has plenty to offer. For a morning coffee and delicious breakfast options, the Anglesea General Store has been a go to spot in this town for multiple decades - our favourite is the Smashed Avocado with Poached Eggs. We couldn’t talk about food and drink in Anglesea without mentioning Jums BBQ Chicken - this local takeaway store is an institution famous for their chips and gravy, perfect after a long day on the beach.

To the next stop in Lorne, you'll make a roughly 30km journey that snakes along the incredible Great Ocean Road where you'll enjoy some of the best views in Australia.
📍 STOP 2: LORNE
Where to stay in Lorne?
The Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park is actually made up of five separate parks, meaning you can choose from your preference of location - riverside, beach access, ocean views or close to the amenities. Our favourite’s are the “Queens Park” sites, nestled into the hills and with incredible views of the Lorne Coastline.
What to do, eat and drink in Lorne?
In an area known for its beaches, Lorne reigns supreme, and you don’t need to travel far with the Lorne Main Beach located right in town being as good as it gets. Spoiled for beauty and surrounded with National Parks, Lorne is a walker’s paradise. Our go to is the St George River walk, meandering along a steady river and fern gullies, this relatively flat walk is suitable for most. With its modern take on classic Greek cuisine, Ipsos is a favourite of ours when it comes to treating ourselves to a night out at a great restaurant.
What's the onward drive?
To the next stop in Apollo Bay, you'll continue along the Great Ocean road for 45km, taking just under an hour.
📍 STOP 3: APOLLO BAY
Where to stay in Apollo Bay?
Marengo Family Caravan Park is located just 2km out of the main township of Apollo Bay and sports some incredible views with its oceanfront location. There’s a range of great cabins and both powered and unpowered sites that sport ocean views, something for everyone.
What to do, eat and drink in Apollo Bay?
Whilst quite steep, the walk up to Mariner’s Lookout is well worth it for the panoramic ocean views, particularly at sunset. In the mornings we head straight to the Apollo Bay Bakery to choose from their range of tasty treats. After a day of relaxing you’ll find us at The Apollo Bay Hotel. A classic coastal pub and the perfect spot for a cold beachfront drink or a casual meal.
What's the onward drive?
This is the final stop in our itinerary, but if you keep heading west along the Great Ocean Road there's several beautiful coastal towns. Port Fairy is a favourite, approximately three additional hours drive along the coast.
