Keen to take that perfect pic or just know that the same places often mean incredible views? Here are our picks for the five best places on the Sapphire Coast to capture that photo that will have all your friends green with envy.

1. ASLINGS BEACH ROCK POOL: EDEN
The shot: A stunning rock swimming pool built into a dramatic set of pink and white cliffs, overlooking the turquoise waters of the ocean. Find a vantage point on one of the paths of the roads and cliffs above to get the perfect shot encompassing the varying colours of this incredible location.

Where to find it: Aslings Beach Rd, Eden NSW

2. CAMEL ROCK: WALLAGA LAKE

The shot: An ancient rock formation that juts ominously into rolling sapphire coloured waters, named as it looks (somewhat) like a camel. Facing due east, you can capture a particularly incredible shot of this 470m year old rock formation sitting amongst pink and purple skies at sunrise. There are several lookout spots to capture your photo from, you want to make sure you’re far enough away to capture the full scene.

Where to find it: Wallaga Lake Rd, Wallaga Lake NSW

3. BLUE POOL: BERMAGUI

The shot: An ocean rock pool that sits at the base of a rocky cliff, named for its incredible blue waters. This one of the most iconic (and therefore, most popular) ocean pools in Australia and the world. There are a variety of angles to capture the perfect shot from, and whilst most go for an overhead view we think it looks spectacular at eye level, with the rocky cliffs melting into the ocean ahead.

Where to find it: Enter via Pacific Dr, Bermagui NSW

4. PAMBULA RIVER MOUTH: PAMBULA BEACH

The shot: Vibrant turquoise waters as a river that snakes between dense green bush on either side opens up into a beautiful, sandy beach. If you can get out into the ocean on any sort of vessel where you can remain steady, we think the best vantage point to take in this view is looking backward. With the beach in front of you and the river feeding in from behind, you'll capture dazzling gradient shades of blue, green and turquoise.

Where to find it: Coraki Dr, Pambula Beach NSW

5. GREEN CAPE LIGHTHOUSE: GREEN CAPE

The shot: An architecturally interesting lighthouse that sits at the southernmost point of NSW, designed by famed colonial architect James Barnet and Australia’s first lighthouse made of concrete. Whilst like any lighthouse, you are surrounded by ocean views, we think the best shot is purely of the lighthouse, looking up at this dominant building and taking in the interesting stepped detailing of the concrete at it's base.

Where to find it: Green Cape Lighthouse Rd, Green Cape NSW
