📍 STOP 1: EDEN
What to do in Eden?
Dive deep into Australia's whaling history at the Killer Whale Museum, originally built to house the skeleton of the Orca “Old Tom”, this is now a great spot to learn all about Australia’s Whaling, Timber and Fishing history. If you happen to visit from May to September, it’s just a short walk to spot real-life whales at Twofold Bay.
Where to stay in Eden?
We love Reflections Eden Holiday Park for its picture-perfect location and large, spacious sites. If you’re willing to forgo connecting to the park's power and use an unpowered site instead, you’ll be rewarded with some of the best views in the park on the edge of the water.
What's the onward drive from Eden to Tathra?
Continue north along the coastal route and after roughly 45-minutes drive time you'll find yourself in Tathra. You'll pass through Merimbula and Pambula on the way which are also both worth a stop if you have the time.
📍 STOP 2: TATHRA
What to do in Tathra?
Connect with nature at Mimosa Rocks National Park or the beautiful Tathra beach before making your way up into the centre of town and enjoying 270-degree views across the ocean from the Tathra Hotel, which also houses a craft brewery. For those seeking some local history, we highly recommend a visit to the historic steamer wharf. On the trail down there you’re every chance to spot some loud seals.

With its premium beachfront location and welcoming atmosphere, NRMA Tathra Beachfront Holiday Park is the pick of local accommodation choices. If the 550m of absolute beachfront doesn’t do it for you, this innovative park is always trying something new ranging from pizza nights to a daily coffee cart and even live music.
What's the onward drive from Tathra to Bermagui?
Another 45 minutes driving and you'll reach Bermagui. You'll pass through the Mimosa Rocks National Park along the way which is worth a stop and explore.
📍 STOP 3: BERMAGUI
What to do in Bermagui?
If swimming in stunning water is high on your holiday hit list, you’ve come to the right place. The still turquoise waters of Horseshoe Bay are one of our favourite places for a dip, or if you’re after a more dramatic scene around the edge of the point you’ll find the famous Blue Pool, a natural ocean rock pool in a see-it-to-believe location below a cliff. Bermagui has some of the best food and beverage options on the Sapphire Coast. We can’t go past a pastry and coffee at artisan bakers Honorbread in the mornings, or roll up to Bluewave Seafood to grab a dozen local oysters in the afternoon to takeaway and enjoy with a side of a stunning ocean view.
Where to stay in Bermagui?
Like many of their other properties, Reflections Bermagui Holiday Park takes a prime position on the edge of the picturesque Horseshoe Bay. For those staying in their caravan or motorhome, we highly recommend the Premium Powered Sites, situated at the front of the property with ocean views and concrete slabs to park on. If you’re seeking a cabin note that there are limited numbers with ocean views, with the vast majority located at the back of the park.

Our itinerary ends here but if you keep heading north along the coast there are plenty of great towns to explore between here and Wollongong. Some of our favourites are Narooma, Huskisson and Gerringong.
