Noosa Heads Surf Club, Noosa

There's not a bad seat to be had out on the deck of this beautiful surf club that is a favourite amongst locals and tourists alike.

First Impressions
Walking up the stairs off bustling Hastings St. and into the expansive bar & bistro room you won’t immediately be struck by the view, but just a few short steps and you sure will be. The indoor dining room and bistro area offers plenty of space but the heart of the venue is down on the deck. There’s not a bad seat on the deck as it juts out right over Noosa’s famous main beach, the picturesque blue waters of Laguna Bay. We take a seat and eye off the bucket of prawns on the table next door knowing that will definitely be part of our order later.

The Offering
Whilst the hero here is no doubt the incredible view, the drinks selection is broad and classic bistro meals are done well, particularly when it comes to seafood. The Iced Bucket of Prawns has cult status and comes in both a 500g and 1kg option, ready for you to graze on at the table and wash down with a cold drink. The seafood basket and seafood platter are also great options with the latter far larger so only order if you have an appetite. For the non-seafood eaters, there’s a good list of burgers and pastas as well as your usual counter-meal type fare. Kids are well catered for with a Kids Menu of all the types of meals you’d expect. There’s a wider than usual variety of beers on tap for this sort of establishment as well as several wines and all your other bar staples. You’ll need to order drinks from the main bar and food from a separate counter, there’s no table service here, but nonetheless service is casual and friendly - exactly what you’d expect at a place like this.
