First Impressions
Situated in the heart of Gerringong on top of a (you guessed it) hill overlooking pristine ocean, the first thing you notice at The Hill is its fantastic deck and the great views. There’s a casual atmosphere and its the sort of place where you could be just as comfortable for an afternoon drink as you would be out for a dinner for any occasion.
The Offering
The food menu covers a range of cuisines and applies some creative twists to various classics. There’s fantastic sharing items that pair perfectly with an afternoon drink in the sun (think Burrata, Tacos, Salt & Pepper Squid) as well as some more substantial items such as a beautiful rich Lamb Ragu or a perfectly cooked Sirloin Steak. If you’re in the mood for something quick but still substantial, there’s also a range of burgers and pizzas on offer. On the beverage side of things, there’s a variety of interesting wines available by the glass and bottle, a range of tap beers and some interesting cocktails. In line with the beachside location there’s a specific Spritz menu amongst their cocktail list, we highly recommend the “43 Renfrew” - a delicious blend of Licor 43, Vodka, Hibiscus Syrup, Passionfruit and Soda. Happy Hour runs daily from 3pm - 5pm and includes a $14 cocktail as well as a $6 beer.
